Rabies Clinic
AFCD comes to our shop at 39 Old Sha Po Village from time to time for Microchipping and Rabies Immunisation.
It is Hong Kong Law that ALL dogs over 5 months old MUST be Microchipped and Immunised and this must be repeated every 3 years. AFCD only charge $80.
Please telephone 2982 0800 for an appointment. We can help collect and deliver your dog back if you wish.
漁護署狂犬病防疫注射及晶片植入服務
如您的狗隻需要接受疫苗注射或申領狗牌，請您盡快致電 2982-0800 預約，額滿即止。

地點: 沙埔舊村39號地下南丫島動物保護組織
費用: 每隻狗港幣 80 圓正 (注射及發牌費用)

根據狂犬病條例，所有狗隻必須在五個月大時接受狂犬病防疫注射、植入微型晶片及領取狗牌，狗牌有效期為三年，到期前須續牌。

南丫島動物保護組織可於該日為一些長者、行動不便及要上班的居民，義務帶他們的狗隻去接受防疫注射。如需協助，或可以參加這項義務工作，請致電：2982 0800。

Newsgroup and a Blog
We have set up a Newsgroup and a Blog. Please invite friends, adopters,
foster homes and anyone who is interested in animal welfare to sign onto our Newsgroup. We will try to keep the group bi-lingual as much as possible.

Grooming
We have groomers coming regularly to the Centre to do grooming. Their charges are very reasonable and they donate part of the proceeds to LAWC.

SPCA SpayBus comes regularly to Pier 4, Outlying Islands Ferry Terminal. This is a low cost service aimed at those who in reality will never get round to taking their animal to a private vet. So please look around your neighbourhood and identify dogs and cats who are in danger of having unwanted pregnancies and try to arrange for them to be brought in. LAWC can help with persuading reluctant owners or transporting unowned animals. Please leave a message at 2982 0800.
